Make your day stand out.

If you’re looking for a unique hotel to kick off your wedding day then look no further! Ben & Oriana found the perfect hotel that offered great locations for portraits as well as a stylish room with a stunning view.

Check out Selina Chicago–a trendy hotel and co-working space in the heart of Chicago. If you value on-location photos on your wedding day, then this place is a must! Be sure to include extra time for portraits when planning your morning. You’re going to want to take full advantage of what the space has to offer!

Shooting at a venue like Selina was definitely an amazing experience for me. The staff was so welcoming and accommodating when it came to taking photos. We had so much fun going around the hotel, which had so many great backdrops to work with!

The Bride

Oriana got ready in an incredible suite! This room was stylish and had plenty of space to get ready and take portraits in. The suite had an amazing view across from the Hancock building that also overlooked the busy streets of Chicago. Accompaning the nice interior was a piano which made for even more grand photos. lol We then took the ladies downstairs for some quick group pics.

The Groom.

The guys got ready at a separate location in the hotel a few floors down from Oriana. This was a perfect space for the guys to get ready and hangout. There was a lounge area with a pool table, bar, and lots of areas to chill. If you’re looking for a space for you and your guys to hangout before the big day, this is the spot.

First looks

Once Ben and Oriana finished getting ready we set up for first looks. They wanted to do a first look for each of their parents before they did theirs together. These were such sweet moments from both parents and especially the couple! You can see in Oriana’s face how excited she was!

Wedding Party

After first looks we went around the hotel for wedding party photos! This is what I was most excited for! Oriana and Ben really valued creative portraits for their wedding. Because of this we made sure to schedule extra time in the beginning of the day to take full advantage of the spaces.

Poke around for some inspiration and to see what cool spots we found!
