A short and sweet ceremony.
I had the opportunity to photograph Tom & Laura's elopement at the Education Pavilion on the Lincoln Park Nature Boardwalk aka the Honeycomb. They wanted a small ceremony with just their kids, but also wanted to document the day with photos.
It was a cold Chicago morning in December, but there was no way that the kids were going to stay inside! They kept warm by wearing hand warmers and running around just being boys.
Tom and Laura were completely unfazed by the cold weather—the two were very much in the moment with one another as they exchanged vows during this short and sweet ceremony.
