A glamorous wedding at The Haley Mansion.

Kaitlyn’s day kicked off at Harrah's Joliet Hotel with all of her bridesmaids getting their hair and makeup done by Lueur Beauti (@lueurbeauti).

After some fun prep photos we made our way to The Haley Mansion. This is where Kaitlyn planned to get into her bridal gown, a Martina Liana Bridal Design. She fell in love with this dress at Bella Sposa Bridal Boutique which made saying yes to the dress so easy.

After she got in the dress they planned to do a first look with her Dad. During her first look with her Dad, Kaitlyn gifted him a personalized pocket square which lead to lots of smiles and tears.

After the first look we went around the mansion for some bridal photos and pivtoted to meet Eric separately for some solo shots before the ceremony started. He was looking sharp in his suit that was designed for him at Custom Suits You.

Ceremony

Eric and Kaitlyn planned to see each other for the first time down the aisle. And let me tell you this moment was filled with emotion–lots of happy tears.

To make sure they could relive their ceremony they also hired Old North Film Co. These guys were great to work with! Always getting the shots and always sharing the space as we were working on getting those breathtaking moments.

The couple exchanged some heartfelt vows to each other while also showing their genuine sense of humor. Speaking of, before the ceremony Eric tipped me off that they were going to play a prank on his best man during the ring exchange. They were all going to ask him for the rings, knowing he didn’t have them, in hopes to get a good laugh. Sure enough he got, got and you can see how confused he looked when they asked him for the rings. Be sure to flip to that moment below for a laugh.

The rest of the ceremony went off without a hitch and we wrapped things up with some family formals near the ceremony space.

Wedding party fun !

After family photos we had finally had the opportunity to take photos with the entire wedding party. Man, this was a fun bunch.

Reception

Their first dance was filled with spins, sways, and bops; and I just loved how the natural light illuminated the couple though the windows.

Everyone came to the dance floor for a “group photo” which quickly transitioned into a dance party as it was their sneaky way to get all the guests out on the floor! Amplified Events really held it down and kept everyone moving!

To top the night off, Eric surprised Kaitlyn by hiring a live painter to capture their first dance. The painting came out so great and she finished it within the day! If you’re looking for a live painter for your wedding check out Tracy Tauber Fine Art (@tracytauberart).

End of the night highlight!

The energy and love was through the roof. Needless to say the wedding was a blast!

Big shout out to all the vendors that made their day special!
