A Shedd Aquarium Proposal
Looking for the perfect place to propose? The Shedd Aquarium is a great location! It offers a great view of the Chicago skyline and it also has many other nearby locations that are great for portraits!
Thomas reached out to me as he was planning to pop the question to his girlfriend Makenzi. They both live in Florida, but both been to Chicago plenty of times. One of their fondest memories together in the city was when they visited the Shedd Aquarium. They loved the museum and the parks around it.
Thomas planned to propose to Makenzi before their reservation for the museum. So to “kill some time” they took a stroll around the lake path. Little did she know I was anticipating their arrival around the bend to capture the proposal as it unfolded.
Makenzi was so surprised and immediatly said yes! After the two had a moment to themselves I came up to congratulate them and we headed around the area for portraits.
There are so many great little spots for portraits around Museum Campus. You can tell we had fun taking advantage of all the different locations near by.
