To keep the surprise intact, we used the "covert approach." I pretended to be waiting for a different couple’s photoshoot as the couple walked up to the bridge to take a selfie. I casually offered to help them with their phone and also mentioned that I could take a quick shot with my camera and send it to them later. When they agreed, the stage was set. As they posed, he made the smooth transition, dropping to one knee for the proposal! She was completely surprised, and the reaction was priceless.
After the big moment, we spent time walking around the Nature Boardwalk, capturing beautiful engagement photos surrounded by the park’s lush greenery. This location truly offers the best of both worlds—nature and city—making it a top choice for couples planning a Chicago proposal.
